Effective December 31st, 2017, the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) succeeded the authority that was formerly granted to the Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency (ARRA), which includes the Radiation Regulatory Hearing Board and Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners. ADHS has created a new Bureau, the Bureau of Radiation Control, within the Division of Public Health Licensing Services, which will contain those functions formerly granted to ARRA.
